The influence of water quality on the insert radiator is not small

In real life, few people associate the water quality with the plug-in radiator, and always think that they do not interfere with each other. In fact, the water quality has a certain impact on the plug-in radiator.

Generally, copper aluminum composite and new cast iron radiators do not have strict requirements for water quality. In addition, the radiator materials used in each room are preferably the same, so as to avoid corrosion due to electrochemical reaction between different materials, and then bring the best heating effect and satisfy the needs of home users.

If the residential area is for household heating, radiators in the market can be used. In case of centralized heating, the selection shall be made according to the water quality. For example, if the water quality has high alkali content, aluminum radiator shall not be selected. The water contains a large amount of oxygen, and the steel radiator with anti-corrosion treatment on the inner layer can be selected.

Because of the characteristics of the data itself, aluminum alloy is resistant to oxidation, but prone to alkaline corrosion. Steel radiators have high strength and certain alkaline ability, but are prone to oxidation corrosion. For steel radiators with wall thickness less than 2.5mm, it is necessary to carry out internal anti-corrosion treatment and apply internal anti-corrosion coating. It is necessary to select special non-metallic pipe fittings to avoid electrochemical corrosion.

The plug-in radiator will corrode. The main reason for corrosion is that the system is not closed, which leads to oxygen entering the system. For a long time, it will oxidize the pipes inside and corrode the tempered parts inside. When the system is injected with oxygen for the first time, because the solubility of oxygen in water is inversely proportional to the temperature, a part of oxygen will be separated from the water during the heating process and discharged from the pipeline through the exhaust valve. The remaining part of oxygen will be dissolved by corrosion reaction in a short time. If there is no fresh water injection system, that is, no oxygen injection, the oxidation corrosion will not be carried out. However, the water in the heating pipe is flowing, and fresh oxygen will contact the pipe continuously. With a long time, the radiator and other steel pipe walls will be corroded and perforated, resulting in water leakage. Then, fresh water will be continuously replenished after water loss, and oxygen will be continuously brought in, resulting in continuous corrosion and a vicious cycle.

For the sake of the service life of the plug-in radiator, we must choose high-quality water source when using the plug-in radiator to avoid corrosion.
