What is a surge?
Let's first understand a current concept - surge.
Surge refers to the transient voltage that exceeds the normal working voltage, also known as transient pulse voltage. It is a kind of transient current in the circuit, which lasts for one millionth of a second and fluctuates violently.
At ordinary times, our electrical appliances are ignited when they contact and plug in. This is the surge, and the surge is also quite destructive to the equipment! The hazard of surge can be divided into catastrophic hazard and cumulative hazard.
Catastrophic hazard: if a surge voltage exceeds the bearing capacity of the equipment, the equipment will be completely damaged or its service life will be greatly reduced.
Accumulative hazard: the cumulative effect of multiple small surges leads to the deterioration of the performance of semiconductor devices, the equipment is prone to failure and the service life is shortened.
Plug in the phone or power first?
If you are using anti-surge drain plug, it doesn't matter whether you plug in the power or the phone first when charging your mobile phone
2 If you use a common battery charger, it depends on your charger, whether it is original or not. When using the original charger, plug in the power supply or the mobile phone first, which basically has no effect. If you are happy
If a non-original charger is used for charging, first plug in the mobile phone and then plug in the power supply, it will generate relatively large voltage pulse, which may cause harm to the mobile phone.
Therefore, when charging the mobile phone, it is better to plug in the power supply first, no matter what kind of battery or charger it is, so there is no pulse voltage, which is relatively safer. Otherwise, the mobile phone battery is aging, the battery life is getting worse, and even lead to a series of problems.
